Thermo Fisher Scientific is set to introduce innovative columns at HPLC 2024 to address the analytical, efficiency, and scalability needs of modern laboratories. The new Thermo Scientific™ SurePac™ Bio 550 SEC MDi™ columns are designed for rapid separations of adeno-associated virus (AAV) monomers and aggregates. Additionally, the Thermo Scientific DNAPac™ RP HPLC columns now come in semi-preparative formats, enhancing scalability for DNA/RNA oligonucleotide research and production.

Key Features of SurePac Bio 550 SEC MDi Columns:

  • Efficiency and Resolution: Utilizes 3 µm monodisperse particles for superior AAV monomer retention and higher aggregate resolution.
  • Reproducibility: MDi technology ensures consistent particle size distribution, offering reliable, reproducible results.
  • Higher Throughput: Shorter columns with 3 µm particles enable faster run times, improving throughput compared to traditional 5 µm columns.
